Temafloor 4000 ESD – A Conductive Floor Coating System
More extensive than ever before, our floor coating selection now includes a conductive floor coating system comprising Temafloor 310 ESD epoxy primer and solvent-free Temafloor 4000 ESD epoxy screed. Together, these products form a floor coating that conducts or removes static electricity.
A conductive floor coating system is intended for places where static electricity can cause dangerous situations in the working environment. In addition to production and storage facilities for flammable and explosive materials, conductive floor coatings are typically used in the electronics and process industry, where static electricity discharges are common.
Our system meets strict quality and durability requirements
The Temafloor 4000 ESD floor coating system complies with the IEC-EN 61340-5-1 requirements for conductive coatings. In addition, the system withstands heavy mechanical and medium-heavy chemical wear, + 110 ºC dry heat and + 60 ºC in immersion. The recommended thickness of the screed film is 3–4 mm.
The colour of the screed is determined by the conductive sand mixture used, of which 1/3 is black sand and 2/3 sand in another colour. When the sand is mixed with the Temafloor 4000 ESD epoxy screed, a so-called non-slip feature is created on the floor surface, which is safe and easy to keep clean.
